The Story Behind The Capri Sunrise
Capri Sun Tropical Punch is a surprisingly worthy match for gin in this quirky, easy-drinking cocktail. Angostura bitters balance the sweetness, as does light tonic water.
(Our recipe calls for mixing and pouring into a rocks glass, but feel free to mix yours right in the pouch.)
Ingredients
- ¾ ounce gin
- 3 ounces Tropical Punch (approximately half a pouch!)
- 2 ounces light tonic water, such as Q Mixers
- 4 to 5 shakes Angostura bitters
Directions
- Combine all ingredients except tonic water in a cocktail mixing glass and stir.
- Pour over ice into a rocks glass. Top with tonic.
