The World Cup is underway down in Brazil and things are off to a fun start. Yesterday we shared a recipe for a delicious tasting (and looking) Blackberry Cabernet Caipirinha. Today we’re taking a look at the 32 countries competing in this year’s World Cup and seeing which varietal of wine (if any) is most popularly produced in each country. Of the 32 competing teams we found answers, from 2010 (courtesy of the dedicated folks at the Wine Economics Research Centre at the University of Adelaide in Australia), for most of the field.
