The Story Behind The Blue Lagoon

This vibrant cocktail is a twist on a classic Lemon Drop Martini. Instead of a sugar rim, I used a bit of simple syrup in the drink and added Blue Curaçao for a bright pop of color. Blue Curaçao is actually just triple sec with blue coloring, so don’t be afraid to use it the next time you want to take a cocktail to the next level!

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ ounces vodka, such as Our/Los Angeles
  • ½ ounce Blue Curaçao
  • ¼ ounce simple syrup
  • ¾ ounce lemon juice

Directions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice.
  2. Shake to chill and combine.
  3. Strain into a coupe or cocktail glass.
