How To Make A Manhattan
Legend has it that the Manhattan originated in New York City, sometime in the 1870s, mixed together in honor of hometown presidential candidate Samuel J. Tilden.
Manhattan Ingredients
- 2 ½ oz Rye
- 1 oz Sweet Vermouth
- 2 dashes Angostura
Manhattan Directions
- Combine all ingredients in mixing glass with ice.
- Stir.
- Strain into chilled cocktail glass
- Garnish with a cherry and enjoy.
