Beer and food pairing is one of life’s greatest joys, and one of the easiest to achieve. Who doesn’t love a backyard barbecue with a cooler and a package of hot dogs? Here’s a question, though: What if beer and brats were one?

Aldi has answered that for us with British Boozy Bangers, actually alcoholic sausages made with real beer and cider. The line debuted in U.K. stores this week, and will be available through summer.

The miracle snack comes in several varieties, including beer-infused Golden Ale and Vintage Cheddar; and cider-infused Thatcher’s Traditional Cider and Bramley Apple.

Each package of four costs just £1.99 ($2.59), and each sausage weighs in at 3.5 percent ABV, similar to a light beer.

If these boozy bangers make it to the U.S., our beer and BBQ pairing game will go from great to amazing.

Also, to give credit where credit is due, shoutout to Ireland’s ingenuity circa 2017, when Irvinestown’s Maguire Meats debuted a Red Bull Vodka sausage; and McCartney’s Of Moira added Gin & Tonic Pork Sausages and Kopparberg Pear Cider Pork Sausages to its offerings.
