In our wine 101 post on “The Tears of Wine,” we explained what these tears are and why so many people are confused about their significance.

Now we have this great video created by Dan Quinn, a grad student studying fluid mechanics at Princeton, explaining how these tears are scientifically formed.

It’s a super geeky video that appeals to the high school science nerd in all of us.  It’s definitely worth five minutes of your time:
