Willamette Valley Vineyards Whole Cluster Pinot Noir 2017 Review

Bright, vibrant and aromatic, this is a great representation of good Pinot from the Willamette Valley region that doesn’t break the bank. Bouncing aromas of cinnamon and a touch of roasted coffee folds into vanilla from good oak exposure. There is a saline quality to the wine (good thing) due to the well done retention of high acidity. The palate brings a slight clove note along with what I can only describe as dried mushrooms (shiitake?). This is one you’ll come back to again and again.
