Scott Family Estate Pinot Noir 2016 Review

The Dijon Clone (which is stated on the label) often produces elegant aromatic and rounded fruit, which we can see here, but with a caveat. There is a leanness to this wine that is just shy of true complexity. It’s a bit hot, but that blows off pretty quickly to show lean aromas of cherry and raspberry with a thin line of vanilla running through and maybe some cinnamon. For the price it’s a good crowd-pleasing wine.
