Review
If you are someone who just wants to get down to business, and to hell with subtlety, this wine is for you. The site states that the grapes for this wine (produced and placed in barrels reserved for this bottling) show the bolder side of Syrah, and they ain’t lyin'. The heat from the alcohol hits you first, followed by the aroma of all the dried red fruits (all of them). I feel like the alcohol is burning the edges of the wine not allowing the tannin to build a framework. Like I said there is no subtlety here, so if you got no time for that and want a big, bold’n’boozy Syrah with soft edges and an elusive tannin structure, this is your wine for days.
