Torre Fornello 'Latitudo 45' Colli Piacentini 2006 Review
While rustic, this 12-year-old wine tastes young and vibrant, with crunchy blackberry and cranberry on the nose and palate. Plentiful earth and salty prosciutto complement the tangy fruit, with grippy tannins and sharp acidity. It’s likely that this Italian oddity will continue to open over the years, but it’s unlikely to lose that wild edge.
