Pascal Jolivet 'Attitude' Sauvignon Blanc 2017 Review
Pascal Jolivet is a noted winery in France's Loire Valley, particularly known for their Sancerre. "Attitude" is a budget-friendly bottling of Sauvignon Blanc from vineyards outside the limits of the Sancerre appellation. Aromas include the classic grapefruit and fresh cut grass notes that are a hallmark of Loire Sauvignon Blanc. The texture is crisp, zingy, and softly palate coating, with citrus flavors and the sensation of so-called "minerality". It's not quite complex enough to be mistaken for a Sancerre, but it's a fraction of the price and comes really, really close. Pair it with oysters or just sip a glass on its own and feel your attitude start to improve.
