Maison Nicolas Perrin Viognier 2014 Review
Lovers of aromatic, floral wines will flock to this entry-level Viognier, but it may be polarizing for some. The nose is potpourri-like, with nectarine and tangerine fruit that is lush but not overblown, and the palate tastes like a fresh lily, stem and all. Round and viscous, the wine could use some minerality or acidity to tighten things up, but it’s a good introduction to the grape.
