Left Coast Cellars Left Bank Pinot Blanc 2015 Review

While Pinot Blanc is not as famous or complex as its Gris and Noir cousins, it is fully capable of producing lovely wines of character, such as this refreshing wine from the Willamette Valley. Aromas include ripe cantaloupe, banana pudding, and a hint of Nilla wafers. The flavors are mostly mineral-driven, along with hints of fresh apple and Meyer lemon. The texture is light and mineral, with a slight hint of lemon oil. It’s a nice alternative to a lightly oaked Chardonnay.
