Larmandier-Bernier 'Vielles Vignes du Levant' Extra Brut Grand Cru 2007 Review
This single-vineyard Champagne comes from a particular plot of old vines in the Grand Cru village of Cramant (located in the limestone-rich Côte des Blancs) that gets intense sun exposure, creating intense, plentiful Chardonnay grapes. It feels luxurious, with creamy, brioche-like richness enveloping layers of yellow apple, high-toned lemon citrus, salt brine, limestone, and more.
