Qupe Bien Nacido Vineyard 'Y' Block Chardonnay 2018 Review

Well, this is pleasant. For an oaked Cali Chard, this has a nice balance. You definitely get the woody oak feels, with some butter and toasted vanilla smells, but those aromas are calmed by a wonderfully vibrant, almost frothy, acidity that allows the wine to be refreshing. At this price, and under screw cap, it's a great bottle to buy a few or more of and share with friends for any occasion. Sunset sip anyone?
