Louis Jadot Macon-Villages 2017
Review
This wine is everywhere and thank Dionysus. The Louis Jadot brand is huge, makes a ton of wine, and is an excellent way to introduce yourself to Chardonnay from its homeland. The quality to price ratio here is crazy with a nose filled with airy wafts of apple and pear, tinged with white peach and some kiwi. The palate is alive with mineral-driven mint notes, citrusy-sweet acacia, and the slightest hint of banana. It sees no oak and the refreshment here cannot be understated. At $13 a bottle grab a case at a time and have it laying around for anything.
