J Vineyards and Winery Cuvee 20 Brut NV Review
This is a great American Sparkler - I think this is what we should be calling US bubbly and I’m trying to make it a thing. It’s only available online but it’s affordable, and if you can get e-commerce savvy you’ll be rewarded with awesome. It has a good balance, the fruit is ripe and tart, and the wine is heightened by the carbonation. The drying sensation of the brut style is a good contrast to the fruit, cleansing the palate for the next sip. Their website suggests this with some white cheddar popcorn, and I can only agree.
