J. Lohr Hilltop Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon 2016 Review
Pro tip: If you put “hilltop” as your title maybe let us know (on your site, press release, something) what said “hilltop” means. The fruit is tart and the oak is sweet. There is tannin but it is not very structured (kind of dusty and not focused) and it’s a bit plumb-y. I’m gonna need proof these grapes were grown on a hilltop. But hey, this wine is everywhere and has some balance, so if you are in a pinch and need to spend a little more to impress with a price tag (for post-gift google searches) it’ll work.
