Hardywood Park Tropic Like It's Hot Review

This beer, released in June 2019, is beautiful on the outside: Its brightly-colored can says it's brewed in collaboration with Virginia Pride, and the back of the can offers a Lyft code to help get revelers home safe. Beyond that, it's not much of a looker — dragon fruit, blueberry, passionfruit, and pineapple, though very tasty, yield a brownish-pink, murky puddle — but luckily, the combination works. It's pleasantly tart, squeezing the edges of the tongue with a softened acidity, while frothy, fruity liquid settles mid-palate, like frozen fruit puree. It finishes cereal-sweet, flirty as a punch with the soul of a beer.
