Fontanafredda Barbaresco DOCG 2015 Review
This wine is widely available, affordable for what it is, and a great intro to the powerful wines of Piedmont made from the Nebbiolo grape. Technically, this bottle is still in its youth, but it's drinking well now. You’ll dig the tart cherry fruit coming at ya with vibrant acidity. The tannic framework is still raw but there's a good balance between power and elegance and you deserve to experience it. You could even buy a couple and lay one down to see how wines age.
