Familia Zuccardi 'Jose Zuccardi' Malbec 2013 Review
This well-balanced wine is a shining example of premium, high-quality Malbec. Concrete fermentation and oak foudre aging enable the wine’s fruit character to take center stage. Displaying flavors and aromas of blackberry, plum, black cherry, and a hint of cassis, the fruit tastes young and fresh but isn’t lacking conviction. Refreshing acidity and firm tannins —provided by the 10% Cabernet Sauvignon that makes up the blend— hint that this wine is capable of aging at least ten years, which is just one of the reasons you should spend $40 on this Malbec.
