El Coto 'Coto Real' 2012 Review
The price of this bottle is great for how old it is. It has all of the balance and subtlety we come to expect from this region, while still showing soft fruit depth. The tannin structure has folded into the wine, and is seamless, holding the remaining dusty tannins up as an earthy framework. Having this with a lean protein, like roasted chicken or skirt steak, would be one hell of a match.
