Ehlers Estate Sylviane Rosé 2018 Review

The nose is calm, with notes of candied red fruit (like cotton candy flavoring) along with a hint of cannabis. It's on the palate that things get crazy, with the unique aroma of the bitter side of a blood orange. There’s also an intense white pepper note running through the body, making it quite astringent. This is a very interesting wine but I'm not sure about that high price tag; if you have the disposable cash to throw at it, it’s definitely a fun and outside the box wine.
