Dutton-Goldfield Fox Den Vineyard Pinot Noir 2016 Review

This wine is ripe and focused, the tannins are still a bit astringent and it’s only going to improve. The wine opens with the citrusy aspect of rhubarb, along with some prominent cinnamon with a vanilla edge. There will be more, as I can get a hint of savory black olive but the wine needs another minute to relax and shed some astringency a bit. This is a great wine to buy and age.
