Review
This wine is still rough around the edges, as the blend continues to reduce itself into awesome, which is why this is a wine to lay down and watch evolve. The wine is like walking through a forest in the early fall after a rainfall. It is extremely earthy, with notes of fresh soil and dead leaves that mingle with blue and blackberry fruit aromas. The palate will be softer as time goes on, but is still showing balance, with hovering acidity that helps the wine not weigh you down. The youth of this wine is seen in the edgy tannin structure still folding in on itself, but this edginess will smooth as youth leads to adulthood.
