Chateau d'Angles La Clape Classique Rosé 2018 Review
A rosé meant for a few years of aging, this wine begins with some oxidative notes (sherry-like) on the palate, which forms a prominent layer over white peach and floral notes. There is also a hint of orange peel. The palate is unique with a saline, wet rock mineral perception, but the finish comes in with a yeasty bed of pastry aroma. This is an acquired taste and may not jive with the Tuesday tacos but instead with gifting the wine geek in your family.
