Cecchi 'Storia di Famiglia' Chianti Classico DOCG 2015 Review

This is a good wine. The small amount of Cab does take away some of the magic Sangiovese wants to give, but makes up for it in some fun aromas of white pepper and cedar along with sour cherry and violet wrapped up in earth. The tannin structure almost outweighs the subtleties of the wine, coming to the forefront to upstage the aromas. Other than this tug of war for your affections this wine is solid and pretty balanced.  Great for a gift or large get together.
