This is a great wine for a wine and cheese party or a wine club night. It’s also a great weeknight steak wine. It has a good depth and a soft, oaky, fruit core. The palate is comfy with well-woven tannins. A lean skirt steak pan-seared in a simple herbed butter and finished with a dash of this wine (hell, get a few bottles), topped with an arugula salad, drunk with this bottle on a hump day evening, will feel like going out.
