If you are an avid Malbec fan, you will love this wine. If you dig Malbec as an affordable weeknight bottle you will also love this wine but will have to shell out $30. The wine is high in alcohol, but is quite balanced, with plum and bramble fruit (like blackberries) along with a savory beef jerky vibe. The mouthfeel is where you’ll say yes to this wine. It is well structured with good acidity and well integrated tannin. The finish is long and saline due to that good acid; it brightens the palate and focuses the tannin not letting them overwhelm. They call it a terroir selection from their best vineyards but don’t feel bad if you can’t get said terroir, it’s just a good blend from good sites. If you enjoy it, you're enjoying the terroir.
