Allegrini Amarone della Valpolicella Classico DOCG 2014 Review
Rich and concentrated, with a significant drying tannin structure, the more concentrated notes come first in the form of espresso and vanilla from French oak exposure. As the wine opens, and it never fully does, dark black cherry fruit and plum notes emerge. The old style raisinated fruit is not in this wine, due to well thought out winemaking, giving this wine the ability to age for a few more years.
