By aggregating the collective reader interests of the most-read wine, beer & spirits publication in America, VinePair Audience Insights empowers you to make smarter, faster marketing, purchase, and investment decisions.
Gin is booming.
The global gin boom has without-a-doubt reached America’s shores. While Pernod Ricard only declared as recently as September 2019 that gin was showing “early signs of taking off” VinePair’s data revealed audience interest double from 1H-2018 to 2H-2018, with further month-over-month sequential growth throughout 1H-2019. We’re not saying we have a crystal ball, but we can help you see the future before it happens.
Rosé isn’t just a summer sipper.
While Aperol and then hard seltzer were busy stealing the drink of summer crown from rosé, something far more important for the category’s long-term future was happening. Filter out the noise of trend pieces concerned with summer-long fads and our data reveals that rosé has already established itself as a year-round force to be reckoned with – and one that offers significant opportunities in the fourth quarter for smart brands.
Vodka peaks during Pride.
It’s no secret that vodka brands rev up their marketing during Pride Month in June. But does that translate to consumer interest? Our data shows how marketing dollars translate into consumer interest.
The Details
VinePair Audience Insights tracks the relative audience interest in over 65 types of wine, beer, and spirits — within their respective categories and in the total alcohol universe. The data used to compute the index values comes from two sources: structured data about articles read on VinePair and search session data from Google. On a typical day we collect 150-250K unique data points about what VinePair’s audience is reading. On a rolling 12 month basis we are observing 800 Million reader and search sessions.
