How To Make A Singapore Sling

The Singapore Sling was first created in 1915 at the at the Long Bar in the Raffles Hotel in Singapore by Ngiam Tong Boon, a Hainanese bartender.

Singapore Sling Ingredients

  • 1 oz Gin
  • 1 oz Cherry heering
  • 1 oz Benedictine
  • 1 oz Lime
  • 3 dash Angostura bitters
  • Soda

Singapore Sling Directions

  1. Combine all ingredients in shaker tin excluding soda and bitters.
  2. Ice small shaker tin.
  3. Shake vigorously, until tin is frosted over.
  4. Strain into chilled highball glass with fresh ice.
  5. Garnish with bitters and enjoy.
