The Story Behind The Hennessy Hot Toddy

Congratulations! You’ve successfully made it through the first half of January. But don’t be fooled; winter's about to get much, much worse. In fact, you’re probably freezing right now. But are you complaining? No, of course not, because complaining could be interpreted as a sign of weakness. Besides, winter isn’t that bad, right? Wrong! If all of that slush on the sidewalk doesn’t bother you, the amount of snow that’ll inevitably continue to pile up around you certainly will. It’s only a matter of time before there is a literal wall between you and the world.

When you’re swimming against the current, even the smallest of grievances can bog you down. In fact, it's nothing short of remarkable when you resist the urge to crawl back into bed, and yet you do, day after day. No matter how arctic the weather, you push forward into the world, ready to be your best self. This is why you deserve a drink that will both warm you up and make you feel, well, special. The ever-cozy Hennessy Hot Toddy, with its hints of lemon, cinnamon, and maple syrup, is that kind of winter drink. So, get ready to perk up, people! This warm cognac-based beverage is not for the faint of heart.
