A slight swap of ingredients lets the classic Old Fashioned bring a taste of holiday nostalgia. Aged like a fine cognac, Don Fulano Añejo’s ripened fruits and deep spice replaces the traditional whiskey, while sugar cubes receive a much-deserved upgrade with agave nectar. A few drops of either chocolate or molé bitters gives this elegant cocktail even more dimension.
Ingredients
2 ounces Don Fulano Añejo
¼ ounce agave nectar
1-2 dashes of chocolate or mole bitters
Garnishes: expressed lemon, orange peel
Directions
Add ingredients into a mixing glass filled with ice.
Stir together to combine/chill.
Strain into a double old fashioned rocks glass containing a rock of ice.
Garnish with both an expressed lemon, and orange peel.
