Dunkin’ and Harpoon are at it again. The Massachusetts-based beverage brands announced a new collaboration, available now through the end of summer: Harpoon Dunkin’ Summer Coffee Pale Ale.
The summer-friendly, limited-edition pale ale is a “hoppy tribute” to Dunkin’ iced coffee, combining the flavors of Dunkin’s Original Blend with a “bright, summery pale ale,” according to a press release.
Dan Kenary, Harpoon co-founder and CEO, said, “it’s a delicious beer – hoppy and vibrant with a nice coffee character. We’re thrilled to partner with an icon like Dunkin’ again.”
Last year, Harpoon and Dunkin’ released Harpoon Dunkin’ Coffee Porter. It was a verifiable success — VinePair’s tasting panel unanimously enjoyed it, and Dunkin’ U.S. Chief Marketing Officer Tony Weisman said the beer was a hit among Dunkin’ lovers and craft beer fans. “[I]it was inevitable we’d collaborate again,” he said.
Look out for the iced-coffee-inspired beer at select retail locations across the Eastern U.S., on draft and in 12-ounce cans.
