America may run on Dunkin’, but with any luck, soon it will be running on beer. Boston-based Harpoon Brewery has teamed up with global coffee giant, Dunkin’ Donuts to release a beer this fall: Dunkin’ Coffee Porter.

The roast-on-roast flavor combination of coffee and porter is a classic match. This one will be brewed with Dunkin’ Donuts coffee and clock in at 6 percent ABV. According to Boston.com, the label is technically classified by the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB) as a “flavored malt beverage,” which makes sense given Dunkin’ Donuts coffee is technically coffee-flavored water. (Kidding. Sort of.)

The bottle label filed with the TTB reads:

“This porter is our tribute to all the days that Dunkin’ has helped us fire up the brew kettle.”

Last year, Dunkin’ Donuts partnered with Wormtown Brewery of Worcester, Mass. on a draft-only taproom exclusive beer, DDark Roasted Brew. Movin’ on up.

Dunkin’ Coffee Porter is scheduled to roll out regionally in 12-ounce bottles and cans in late October or early November. “Hopefully, it will be worth the wait,” a Harpoon spokesperson said.

It’ll probably be fine, and they’ll probably sell a lot of it.
