Officially, fall is still over one month away, but that hasn’t slowed the arrival of pumpkin-spiced everything.
Dunkin’ Donuts launched its Pumpkin’ fall menu on Wednesday, while Starbucks recently confirmed the PSL will return next Tuesday, on Aug. 27. For those who are done with summer, but don’t want to jump on the pumpkin train, Denny’s is launching a bourbon-themed menu to get us into the fall spirit.
Called Big Bourbon Flavors, the menu features a range of bourbon-flavored dishes to enjoy throughout the day.
For breakfast, there’s the Apple Bourbon Pancake Breakfast, which sees two flaxseed multigrain pancakes topped with caramel apple walnut bourbon sauce. The dish arrives with eggs, hash browns, and the choice of bacon strips or sausage links. For Francophiles, the same dish is offered with the pancakes swapped out for crêpes, which arrive folded over vanilla cream.
For lunch and dinner, Denny’s is offering two other classic bourbon dishes: the Bourbon Bacon Burger, which is topped with bourbon sauce and served inside a cheddar bun; and the Bourbon Chicken Sizzlin’ Skillet, which sees grilled chicken breasts coated in a bourbon glaze, and served with a selection roasted vegetables.
