Born in the Rockies, stolen in the Rockies.

In what police are calling an “unusual” theft in Delta, British Columbia, just over the border of Washington State in Canada, a thirsty thief has allegedly stolen close to 2,600 cases of Coors Light from a truck trailer.

CBC News of Canada reported last week that a trailer was stolen from a Delta yard, taken about 20 kilometers away to Richmond, British Columbia—its journey, easily tracked by a handy GPS device in the trailer—and found the following day without a can, or a culprit, in sight.

The total Coors Light loot totaled 2,592 cases, valued at $155,000. Talk about a beer haul.
