Applebee’s is Spreading Holiday Cheer With its $1 Merry Dollarita

With Thanksgiving behind us, Applebee’s is turning its focus to all things Christmas and offering a $1 seasonal twist on the traditional Margarita.

Served in a 10-ounce mug, the Merry Dollarita will feature a mix of tequila, lime juice, and triple sec, with the additional pop of pomegranate. The edible seeds of the tart fruit, typically in season during the winter months, are packed with antioxidants, making them a great option during the cold and flu season.

The pink cocktail will be served on the rocks and pays tribute to the iconic Dollarita, the original drink that started Applebee’s $1 Neighborhood Drink of the Month craze.

“Come on in and deck the halls with Applebee’s Merry Dollarita this month,” Patrick Kirk, vice president of beverage innovation at Applebee’s, said in a press release. “We are spreading the holiday cheer with an unbeatable holiday bargain that keeps giving back all month long. It’s time to eat, drink, and be merry!”
