Today might be April 1, but this is no April Fools joke: For the rest of the month, Applebee’s will be serving strawberry Margaritas for just one dollar.
If the drink sounds familiar, it’s because the casual dining chain debuted the Strawberry Dollarita as its Neighborhood Drink of the Month in August 2018. The cocktail blends tequila, strawberry, and Margarita mix and for this month’s reincarnation, Applebee’s is garnishing the cocktail with a strawberry-flavored Twizzler candy straw.
The drink will be available through April 30, 2019 and, as always, pricing and availability will vary with location.
“Sippin’ on a Strawberry Dollarita through a strawberry-flavored Twizzlers straw is just about the coolest and most exciting way to drink a margarita,” Patrick Kirk, vice president of beverage innovation at Applebee’s, says. “No question about it.”
Can’t argue with that.
