About Richard Thomas

Richard Thomas turned his Kentucky upbringing and eight years as a European expat into cheese, whiskey and wine writing. His seventh book, American Whiskey, came out in 2019, and he has written for Chilled, Inside Hook and Paste. When he isn’t scribbling in a bar, he might be found banging a heavy bag, building a house or hauling a ruck in Red River Gorge.
