Just one look at creator Pamela Rinn’s (@lifeontrend) photos and videos and you’re struck by an overwhelming feeling of joy. Scrolling through her recipes and seeing her beautiful tablescapes, you know she can throw one helluva party. To create a bespoke cocktail for this holiday season, she’s reached for the nearest bottle of RumChata. “I just think Friendsgiving is so great because it’s a gathering of people who are just so grateful to be living life alongside each other,” said Rinn.

Besides a table packed with good friends and loved ones filled with home-cooked food, RumChata is the perfect way to get the party started. Made from an iconic blend of Caribbean rum, Midwestern dairy, and Mexican spices, the liqueur is a great complement to all the Friendsgiving flavors.
We caught up with Pamela between sips of her cocktail creation of RumChata mixed with cola and a cinnamon stick garnish.

RumChata gets the Friendsgiving party started! What are you working on?

“Well I just prepared myself a RumChata Dirty Soda and then I’m getting started on the food prep for the party. When my friends come over, they’ll be greeted by a beautifully decorated drink station to create their very own RumChata Dirty Soda.’”

How would you describe the aesthetic of your Life On Trend page?

“I’d say that Life On Trend is a lifestyle brand. And my work focuses on food, home, beauty, fashion, and travel. I’m committed to creating content that enhances my followers’ everyday lives.”

As a guest, what’s your advice/what is the etiquette for friends who are going to another friend’s party?

“Being a great guest is the best way to get invited back. So I always offer to prepare something to bring and surprise them with a hostess gift. At the end of the night I’ll help with cleanup so they aren’t left with a giant mess. Nobody wants that!”

How did you get started as a creator?

“It happened organically. I just loved sharing my life on Instagram and I guess people liked what I was sharing. Maybe there was a little oversharing actually! I moved from San Francisco down to Orange County in my early twenties and met some amazing girls who helped guide me in the right direction to making this an actual career. Now I’m in Colorado and I couldn’t be happier.”

What’s the most fulfilling part about using your platform?

“I’ve been doing this for a while now and I’m just in awe that I’m able to create relationships with people who I would have otherwise never met.”
